CREAM FOR YOUR COFFEE?
In Europe they serve hot cream with their coffee and tea in restaurants. Here in the U.S. they serve it chilled. Doesn't it make sense to serve it hot so it keeps your beverage warm?
BANK'S IN EUROPE
Have you ever been to a bank in Europe? Last few visits to Italy I had the opportunity to visit banks in northern and southern Italy. The entrance to many banks there are quite different from the banks in the United States.
The entrance only allows for one person to enter at a time. You enter a sliding door, it closes behind you, then camera's snap photos of you. Then a door on the opposite side opens to allow you entrance.
To exit the bank you must go through the same process. It is a bit more time consuming obviously but bank robberies are rare compared to here in the United States.
My local bank in California has been robbed many times and I hear about bank robberies in the news all the time. Perhaps we should look into similar safety devises as they use in other countries.
Grocery Carts in England
When I was in England I noticed at grocery stores you had to deposit a coin to get a shopping cart. Then when you were done with your cart you had to bring it back to the cart isle to get your money back. That sure saves the grocery store money by not having to pay employees to walk around the parking lot to pick up grocery carts. It also saves people lots of money in damages to their cars from shopping carts rolling down a slope or rolling from the wind on a windy day and slamming into your car.
